1.Would you rather go out with messy hair and nice make-up or Nice hair and no make-up?

Both sound alright as i don't wear makeup and i like messy hair as it is in right now. But i chose the nice hair and no makeup.

2.Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?

i think i would rather have my eyelashes fall out. Because you could just use false lashes.

3.Would you rather be forced to shop at only MAC or Sephora for the rest of your life?

i am British and i don't know what sephora is and I don't wear makeup so i changed the question to super-drug or boots and I chose boots. I love boots!!

4.Would you rather wear lipgloss/lipliner look or 80's perm?

i think the lip gloss look as i would use light lip liner and a pigmented lip gloss so it looked good.

5.Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?

over done blush it would just look like your blushing if not then I'll live with it.

6.Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?

Mc hammer pants. i could make it work.

7.Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really weird tan lines that can't be covered?

tan lines i would just say i went to a cruise or hot holiday.

8.Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair color?

haircut you could always do an updo or ponytail or braid.

9.Would you rather have youtube or twitter taken away forever?

twitter - I don't have one it doesn't interest me that much but i live on you tube i just love it.

10. Would you rather give up using makeup brushes or mascara? 

brushes as i like mascara as long lashes are pretty and i dont wear makeup and mascara on its own is pretty.

GCSE's :(

In about 120 days I have my GCSE's (excluding the holidays). So I am up to my neck in books and revision guides. Revising early is good for me and will help me get as much revision as possible. That is why my posts will be very un - scheduled. I will be trying to upload as much as i can and i will do school related tips and posts.

Primark Eyebrow Pencil review

I don't usually fill in my brows. But about 6 weeks ago; before the summer holidays i over plucked my brows and so i decided that i wasn't going to pluck or wax. I managed to keep my word to that; and only on the night before school i waxed the stray hairs. I'm still growing them and i have started to fill in my brows. I did use the rimmel london brow pencil, but it was so hard that no colour was paying off and i overall didn't like the product.

The pencil was bigger, but I have sharpened it 

So while i was on a shopping trip. I went primark to get elastic bands and other necessities. I stumbled upon these eyebrow pencils. I thought i was the shade medium but that's quite light for me, even though i have light brown hair. So i have dark and medium. The medium is nice for the start of my brows and the ends.

The pencil is very soft, unlike the rimmel london one. The colour pay off is amazing and really goes on smooth and doesn't pull the skin. But due to it being so smooth it goes blunt quite quick and requires a lot of sharpening.

The spool tool works great and is good to blend the product and neaten the brows. This product costs just £1 and is an amazing product for the pice. Primark have done very well and i will be re-purchasing.

Trend alert

The infamous block heel has been a very big style statement around the world, but only lately has this trend crept up to my city. While shopping for some i seen that they are quite. tall. Being 6ft I'm not sure whether i should wear them. They might make me seem larger. But i think these ones from new look are really cool. If i get these i will post them.

How to get super soft and clean hair

Even when we wash our hair it still isn't the cleanest it can be. But, after watching a you tube video I discovered the way to get super clean (stripped of all left over product and build up). All you need is 3 things. You will need: Dish Soap , 1 lemon and conditioner.

Begin by Getting your soap and wash your hair starting with your scalp first. make sure to really work it into the scalp and then travel to the ends of the hair. wash out and ensure all hair is clean. Then get the lemon and slice in half. Avoiding the eyes squeeze the lemon onto the scalp and rub in and then repeat with the other half but this time clean the ends of the hair. Leave the lemon in for 5 minutes and wash out. After rinsing, your hair will feel squeaky clean and will also be dry. At this point,apply your conditioner to the hair and leave in for 5 - 10 mins and then wash out. Your hair will be clean and soft. All product build up will be gone.

I haven't posted in a while as i have been busy busy busy. i went to relatives house over the weekend and came back on Monday and have been going to family events. So my posts will be back and expect a haul soon. Thanks.

Back to school hairstyles

This is such a pretty summer hairstyle and i love side braids.

This is such a cute updo. Updo's are perfect for summer
days and even picture day.

This is probably my most worn hairstyles for school.
Half up Half down hairstyles look so cute and also elegant.
But they are so easy to do. I like to section my top half of hair ,
tease it and then smooth it back into a small ponytail. Add a bow and done.

I love the way a voluminous and messy ponytail looks and this one
is perfect. I'm quite a tomboy and hate having my hair in my face so
this one is still a bit girly while keeping my hair clean and simple.

These curls are so pretty and no one wants to wake up early, so doing this the night before and opening in the morning means you get a lie in and no damage to your hair.

Rimmel London baby lips Dupe?

While watching the first episode of Made in Chelsea NY; I saw the advert for the new keep calm lip balm's by Rimmel London. It's odd how much they remind me of Maybeline's baby lips. The have introduced many shades and each one has a funky and cool name to match the shade. Each lip balm is priced at £2.99 which is the same price as the baby lips. I didn't like the baby lips so these look quite promising. I will be purchasing one very soon and i will be doing a review.

Summer Fashion DIY's

Here are some of my favourite summer fashion DIY's and I hope you try some. Have fun.

This is probably the most cutest and most easiest. Re- vamp an old
pair of glasses with any thing you like. You can use diamonds to bows
it's up to you and your preferences. I like the ombre look on these glasses. 

These bracelets are so cute. You can make them out of old clothes and scarves.
if you ever have any left over wire hangers make sure to try this.

I love spiky studs. This headband is so edgy and funky
and i love it. You could always swap for the pyramid style studs
or coloured ones. but i like the gold and black edgy look.

I love printed jeans. But finding a pair in tall sizes ain't easy.
So this project is easy and chic. Cut the stencil and dab. If
your a bit older you could always use watered down bleach
it will give a faded sort of look but be careful and wear gloves
and eye protection.

This is a very in expensive diy and gives you the prettiest looking collar ever. You could use
beads, flat back studs for an edgy look.

I love scarves and sometimes i go through my scarf collection and some of the
scarves are really thin and flimsy. So getting two scarves and doing this will be the
best scarf ever to be made. There is no sewing so not only is it easy, but you can
take it apart and try another colour combination.

Balmi cube review

I am an avid collector of lip balms and I have over 20 of them.this may seem over the top but I use it on a daily basis. so having a good one is necessary. I usually like to stick to either Vaseline or my lip smackers or even my nivea essential care chapstick. I am not a fan of Baby Lips as they make my lips drier that before I applied the lip balm. So I travelled to boots and discovered something called the "Balmi cube". i decided to get one after being intrigued by the packaging. So after deciding between mint and strawberry i chose strawberry. I got home and ripped the packaging open and discovered one of the best smelling lip balm ever. i also discovered a small section underneath to apply with your finger.NICE.

so i applied it to my cracked lips and i have to admit the formula tasted great and also felt great. it lasted a long time and kept my lips juicy. So then i took it around in my school bag and realised that the lid snap became loose and the lid would fall off while jumping around in my bag. All though i did not do anything the lid would not close which didn't impress me. Then after about a week i applied it to my lips and gagged with shock. The flavour had turned awful and didn't taste like the amazing strawberry milkshake I had tasted before. i had to wipe it off my lip and reapply another good tasting lip balm ( Lip smackers coco cola flavour). after that i gave it another chance but the same thing happened. And i also the noticed the plastic sealing wrapper peeling off and the dome flattening with every swipe on my lip.

So some people may question whether i looked after it properly but i did . I guess i may have got an odd one. My good friend who is an eos lover also had the same problems to me and reccomended me eos lip balms. Overall the packaging was good and at the start it was nice. but i think if i was to get one i wouldn't take it around, but keep it at home on my vanity table.

20 uses for vaseline

Vaseline not only soothes cracking and dry lips but also has other uses. Please Read on ( Petroleum jelly can also be used).

Applying a small coat onto your eyelashes can encourage growth over time.

Rubbing onto cuticles and elbows can make them look smoother and also more clean and healthy.

Using it on your lips to make them softer (Obviously). But adding a small amount of eye shadow to melted Vaseline can make your own DIY lip colour. Also adding non-toxic crayons can colour the Vaseline. Try mixing colours to make your own one of a kind lip product.

Adding a 2-3 chocolate chips can make a chocolate lip balm.

If you apply Vaseline to were you apply your perfume you can help maintain your scent longer.

You can mix with sugar or sea salt to make your own DIY scrub also adding essential oils and colourings would make a nice gift in a mason jar.

It can be used to remove makeup.

You can use it as a sun screen as It can protect your skin against harmful conditions. 

Just don’t apply to your face if your prone to oily skin as it can make your skin look oily and shiny.

Use it after shaving to create smooth and soft skin.

 Use it to help remove rings and jewellery stuck on your body.

 Use it as an eye brow gel to keep stray eyebrows tamed.

 Add some honey, sugar and olive oil to make a lip scrub.

 Using Vaseline to tame small fly away hairs and get the sleek hairstyle you were going for. Just don’t over do it as it can look greasy.

 Put a small amount onto your split ends to help them between hair appointments.

 Polish boots to make them look like new.

 Apply to forehead to prevent box dye from sticking.

 Use it to remove gum from wood.

 Use it help put earrings on with ease.

 Apply to your feet and then pop on some socks and sleep to achieve soft and supple feet.

 Apply to teeth to prevent lip stick sticking.

Beauty Hacks Every Girl Should Know

These are simple and life saving beauty hacks. I did some thorough research and chose some of my favourite and best working hacks. I hope you enjoy.

1. If you run out of shaving cream then use hair conditioner. Not only do they make you legs silky smooth but you also won't cut yourself.
2. Place Vaseline on your pulse points before applying perfume. This makes the scent last longer on your body.
3. Use apple cider vinegar as a toner to prevent breakouts and acne.
4. You can also use apple cider vinegar to get rid of hyper-pigmentation.
5. Use coconut oil to shave with it also gives you silky smooth legs.
6. Lemons are the best fruit to use for whitening teeth. Mix with bicarbonate of soda or baking soda and apply to your teeth for two minutes and brush off.
7. Lemon juice can be used to lighten age spots.
8. Use equal parts lemon juice and water and apply to chosen parts of your hair. Sit in the sun and wash out.BOOM. Instant highlights. 
9. Using castor oil and vitamin e gel mixed together can grow your lashes. Just apply to your eyelashes and your lash line. Then go to sleep. do this for around a week to see results.
10. Apply Dry shampoo to your roots before you sleep. when you wake up all of the grease will be gone.

My wishlist

   

Here is a list of a few things that i am working towards. They are just things i think are cute and am saving all of my money for.


1. Tony moly bunny gloss bar. These adorable bunny inspired lip glosses are not only sheer and appropriate for school and all teenagers. They come in a range of colours and the packaging is the best I have ever seen. My favourite shades are the 3rd, 4th and 6th ones.

2. who doesn't want a Fuji film Instax. These are memory makers and they print the picture as soon as you take it. So for teenagers they don't need to spend money on printing. I love all of the pastel colours and they just look perfect.


     

 

3. These converses are the cutest pair ever and they go with like every piece of clothing in my closet. i haven't got a pair of converses as every time i find some online the colour isn't right in the store. but these are perfect.

4. i still haven't got an eos yet. ive tried a balmi and will do a review and wow that was not something i would re-purchase. But obviously eos one of the most popular lip balms ever. so i will try one eventually. 

5. These are the too cool for school lipsticks and they are adorable. the packaging are these cool city skylines and they would look soo adorable on someone's vanity table.

    6. I really want to try this lush bath bomb. i love having baths as it is comforting and relaxing and usually i just add bath gel. but a funky pink bath would be good too.

Skincare Routine

                                                                            

I thought I would share with you my daily skin routine. Using these products, I get silky smooth skin and it makes you look so much brighter.


Night Routine:

First i use the St Ives apricot scrub to remove all dead skin cells
and give my face that rejuvenating feeling. The reason i
 love this scrub is because it smells great and the
small pieces of apricot are good exfoliators
but are gentle on the skin.

After ex foliating i use this clay mask to control
oily skin and give it that bright and soft feeling.
The mask goes on so much smoother if you
exfoliate first.

Morning Routine:

In the morning i don't like to use a scrub as it could be too
drying on my skin. So I like to use this face wash. It has a
creamy yoghurt like texture and just washes away any
grease and makes your skin feel refreshed. 

My Summer Essentials

Summer is officially here. The weather is hot and people are going out and having quality family time. Here are my summer essentials. We all have those products we can't live without.

This is a great moisturiser perfect to give you smooth looking legs
and arms in the summer. Its great smell and smooth
texture makes you want to use it more.

Everyone needs a perfect pair of flats for the summer. And my feet have been glued to these flats from new look. They're comfortable and
stylish.

This oil not only enhances nail growth but
conditions the cuticles. This with the hot weather
is surely going to grow your nails longer.

This cup is cute and has my favourite character on it.
Julius the monkey. Its perfect for summer milkshakes and smoothies. Also, the wasps can't get in.

Everyone needs a lip balm for their dry
cracked lips and this is one is great. It contains
beeswax and Shea butter wit jojoba oil. It acts as
a barrier from the sun.

This dry ends serum is great as it is very lightweight
and really moisturises the hair follicles. it smells great
and doesn't make your hair look oily. 

The Hinari Genie comes with many attachments and blends fruit to a smooth and creamy pulp. I recommend it for avid smoothie makers and milkshake lovers.

To tackle the dry skin and protect your face
this boots moisturiser hydrates the driest of skin,
has spf to protect your skin from the sun's rays and is
good for sensitive skin like mine.

I love using this in the place of a body wash every
now and then to get rid of dead skin cells and
because it foams up it acts as a perfect body wash.
 But don't overuse.

These headphones are great. They are loud
clear and look stylish. I bought these after my brother
got a pair of red ones and I wanted my own pair, so i
used my Amazon voucher to buy these, they're only £10.99.
